VG REVIEW: Saints Row 2 [Xbox 360]

Like most accounts of this title start of I will be no different in saying that this is by no means a Grand Theft Auto diversion or a GTA killer, instead it should be viewed as an alternative. But it still is worth picking up, or at least playing. I had doubts about the game but gave it a try. While I wasn’t overly impressed by it the title was still fun to say the least. All the great elements of the first game were there but with some small tweaks, minor adjustments, or a more added content. I liked how the layout of the city remained relatively unchanged, instead just the culture and feel of Stilwater changed a bit.

Campaign Ads Reach Video Games

Sorry, thought this would be interesting, instead of writing, I’ll just post the article. Thought this was interesting regardless of policy. I believe the article says ads will run until November 3, and vary from state to state which is interesting, I wonder how they are able to distinguish state from state via the IPS. Fable 2: First Impressions

Well, as frequent readers should have heard I went out to pick this title up yesterday. So after playing the first few hours of the game, here’s what I think. Awesome, just pure awesome. Thus far I think everything Peter Molyneaux has talked about, I have seen in the game. Just a quick breakdown.

Let The Games Begin!

In my opinion, this week signifies the beginning of the best season of gaming there is. Now, this isn’t a specific date or anything, but this week with the release of Dead Space, let my bank account feel the pain. That is if it didn’t already, as I bank with collapsed Washington Mutual (*tear* my beloved WaMu turned WaMu-Chase).

If this map is anything to go by, and there’s no real reason as to why it shouldn’t be pretty accurate, John McCain is going to have to kick his campaign into high gear and maintain it for the next three weeks if he wants to have any chance at winning this election. Pollster.com now has Obama sitting at an estimated 320 electoral votes compared to John McCain’s 158, with 60 votes still considered up for grabs. Just a quick bit of math shows that Obama has more than double the amount of votes as McCain, and 50 more than is needed to be elected.

Palin Returns to TV

Journalist -> Gov’t -> SNL Guest Star -> VP?

There is a report coming out via the New York Post reporting that Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin will be guest starring on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on October 21, 2008.

Thus far, Palin advisers have not confirmed or denied the report.
