Israel Attacks Palestine, Retaliation for Rocket Attacks

I held off on posting this originally because I wasn’t sure if this might just all blow over after a few airstrikes but it looks like it’s escalating. About 24 hours ago, Israel began launching sorties against Palestinian rocket launchers and other security compounds that had been pounding Israel for a few days. After the initial strikes, it is claimed that the rocket attacks have been reduced by fifty percent. Israel launched strikes against a tunnel network that was used to smuggle guns in an attempt to stem to flow of arms to the Palestinian militants. (more…)

First Impressions: Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts And Bolts

Alright straight from the get go, I am a fan of the franchise, so there may be a little bias here. The second thing I must note is that the demo of BK:N&B on XBL doesn’t do the game justice. I thought the demo was fairly good while waiting to play the full version game, but to be completely honest, compared to the full version the demo sucks and doesn’t pay the title adequate homage.

Campaign Ads Reach Video Games

Sorry, thought this would be interesting, instead of writing, I’ll just post the article. Thought this was interesting regardless of policy. I believe the article says ads will run until November 3, and vary from state to state which is interesting, I wonder how they are able to distinguish state from state via the IPS. Palin Returns to TV

Journalist -> Gov’t -> SNL Guest Star -> VP?

There is a report coming out via the New York Post reporting that Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin will be guest starring on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on October 21, 2008.

Thus far, Palin advisers have not confirmed or denied the report.

Lionhead Cracks the Whip on Fable 2

In past press releases, word was spread that the online co-op of Fable 2 would be delayed one week and would be patched the week of Fallout 3’s release. Lionhead is now reporting that a patch for co-op play will be available from day one. Good news!

Reuters: Gorby to Form New Russian Party

Reuters is reporting that former Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev is to found a new Russian political party along with Russian tycoon Alexander Lebedev. The party will be “independent of the Kremlin”. The main focus of the party is said to be independent media, economic reform, and lessening of state powers. Just thought this would be interesting to point out.
